My basic business model is creating revenue from film & television content with a Latino twist, created for direct sale to general audiences via Video On Demand sites like Netflix, Hulu, etc — thereby being able to bypass the “studios & networks”.

Our independent film projects will have limited theatrical releases, and will go the film festival route, but as we will have deals in place for the internet series, it will make their ultimate distribution to VOD sites a much easier process.

I seek investment to start production of our first feature, plus the 3 webisode series that will be our constant revenue source until the film is released. I plan to leverage my work in films with Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis, Greg Kinnear, and directors such as Garry Marshall and Terry Gilliam, to market the company, and to hire A-List Latino Hollywood actors.

“88 Jade Way” is a new webisode series created by Christian Anderson for FAST & FURIOUS director Justin Lin’s Asian American “YOMYOMF” (You Offend Me, You Offend My Family) YouTube Network. The series revolves around an affable apartment building manager, Mr. Fu, dealing with his misfit group of tenants.

Puppeteers include, among others: Christian Anderson, Camille Chen, Nathan Danforth, Derek Lux, Heiko Obermöller and Felix Pire.

It was a great pleasure working on this show… it shot on the Paramount Soundstage 25, which previously housed shows like FRASIER and MORK & MINDY. You could practically see the ghosts hanging around — you could certainly feel them…

And what a coincidence that I’m announcing my episode airing next Saturday (11/3/2012) on this Halloween day.

Halloweens must be good luck for me these days, ’cause last one, I was performing in a solo show on Broadway at the United Solo Festival at Theatre Row!

… Kinda creepy Awesomeness!

The cast of teens on HOW TO ROCK… ALL OF THEM: Incredibly down to earth and hugely talented!

Cymphonique Miller, the star of the show, was herself, a delight.

Max Schneider (pictured all the way to the left) was super-welcoming, and his mom was gracious enough to take the picture above.

I think what I enjoyed most, was a chance, in one of my incarnations, to play French (my last name, I believe, is French).

Plus, I loved wearing such a stylish costume.

A pitch to corporate sponsors on the value of branding a new cast of irreverent, funny Latino puppets with their product to reach the massive Bilingual, Latino youth market!

A NOTE FROM SEÑOR LORO:

Dear Spring Chickens and Business Class Passengers,

I can’t tell you how hard I’ve been working here in Hollywood trying to get our little show sponsored by a corporation that will suck all the life out of it. Because really, otherwise, what’s the fun? Life is a Mambo, you gotta shake it till you break it, because that’s the only thing that you can take with you when you kick it: your dancing.

So, we gotta flap our wings and kick our feet around like a horny rooster, so everyone can see that we mean Business!… What we’re looking for are the same people who create Super PACs for the candidates in this year’s elections. People who are willing to invest in puppets.

So, with Conchita’s Photoshop skills and Mary Juana’s know-how on getting people hooked, we cobbled together a pitch to corporate sponsors on the value of branding a new cast of irreverent, funny Latino titeres with their product & some good financial backing.

What do I know? I’m only creating a show that has the potential to reach a massive Bilingual, Latino market that they say will decide this year’s election…
