PUPPETEERING

Felix Pire is the puppeteer behind The CUZZIN M Show, where he plays the titular character fo Cuzzin M, an ostentatious TV personality who gets a new gig after losing her late night slot due to her hilariously vulgar persona.

“CUZZIN M” takes viewers on a compelling ride as our protagonist navigates the challenges of getting back on her feet in her return to the spotlight, bringing with her a larger-than-life personality that many aren’t prepared for.” The series, created by Keke Palmer‘s KeyTV, was developed by Palmer herself. The series counts guest stars such as Flex Alexander, Shanice and more. Created by Rosero McCoy and Eric McCoy. That “ostentatious TV personality,” you may ask? A puppet. The series’ launch comes as KeyTV recently reached the 1 million subscriber mark just as it celebrated one year since launch. Here’s a Playlist: The CUZZIN M Show.

In November of 2021, Felix was asked to audition for Sesame Street as a puppeteer, to play Rosita Monster’s wheelchair bound father — although he didn’t get the role, it was a huge badge of honor to be asked and to be flown to New York to audition!

In 2007, Felix Pire began producing a Latinx puppet webisode series with SNL style humor on a YouTube channel called LosTiteresTV, which means The PuppetsTV in Spanish. Since then, there is also a Twitter page, Facebook and Instagram.

From this web series emerged the idea for a sitcom/variety show, and here’s the POWERPOINT PITCH & PILOT EPISODE SCRIPT: The Señor Loco Show: “El Piloto”!

Felix portrays a slew of characters within the LosTiteresTV brand, seeing himself as a cross between a Latino Jim Henson 2.0 with the humor of a Seth MacFarlane.

Among the cast are: Señor Loro (a Cuban-American ex-parrot), who produces & hosts his own snarky ‘variety show’, The Señor Loco Show, about a ragtag cast of immigrant characters, aspousing an edgy, satirical, political point of view. A sketch comedy variety show on current events, politics, and pop culture. It aims to entertain viewers through a mix of live sketches, musical performances, and comedic monologues. In an original twist: Celebrity hosts that are mostly hilariously “othered”, treated as second class citizens, and/or subjected to ridicule by the puppet characters.
